RESEARCH PROJECTS

My major research, evaluation, and community engaged projects span the fields of urban education, English education and literacy studies, higher education, and teacher education. Cross-disciplinarity is a characteristic of these projects, often taking ideas and concepts from separate fields and bringing them together to understand a topic. The research methods across these projects include ethnographic portraiture, participatory case study, sociometric surveys, interview-based qualitative studies, and participatory evaluation.
