YAKTOWN SOUNDS
Yaktown Sounds was community based music education through beatmaking, DJing, and songwriting. It took place Pontaic Public Library, the Baldwin Center, and Pontiac Middle School. It was organized in a sandbox style where music producers in the Detroit metro area would set up equipment stations for young and not-so-young people to play and experiment.
